I had absolutely no intention of buying a pair of shoes yesterday.
It just so happened that I was in Bondi Junction for work, and during my lunch break, I did what everybody does on their lunch break.
I went to browse the shoe department of David Jones.
Now, remember when I wrote the post about the mega bargain Armani loafers in mid October? Of course you do, what was I thinking?
Those loafers that I picked up for an amazing $70, are now on “special” for the not so bargain price of $260.
As if that wasn’t enough to give me the warm and fuzzys, I then came across these potential new shoeplex residents.
I admit, they’re not exactly eye catching, and compared to some of my other purchases, they’re positively boring. (Kenneth Cole fans just experienced an apoplectic fit. I called his shoes boring!)
Why did I buy them apart from the fact they were a measly $65?
The weird thing is, amongst all the pairs of shoes that I am so proud of, I actually don’t have a pair of black sneakers in my possession.
Well, that was until now.
